Robot Soccer Senior Rule

1. Description/Objective
The robot soccer match is a 2 vs. 2 soccer game for middle and high school
students (or equivalent), using a bracket system determined by the organizers.
This competition will be held on an arena measuring 170 cm x 115 cm. Robots
are prepared by the participants according to specified requirements. Each
participant's mission is to operate the self-built robots and score as many points as
possible.
2. Robot Restrictions
1. Robots must be wirelessly controlled.
2. Maximum robot dimensions are 20 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm (L x W x H).
3. Maximum robot weight is 1000 grams.
4. Maximum robot voltage is 12V DC.
5. Robots may use a maximum of 4 driving mechanisms (e.g., DC motors,
servos, etc.).
6. The soccer robot must be self-built and is entirely up to the participants.
7. Robots are not allowed to contaminate or damage the arena.
8. Robots must not pose any danger to people in or around the arena.
9. Robots may have a kicking mechanism.
10. Adhesives are not allowed on the robot's tires.
11. Robots may not be modified on the day of the competition.
3. Match Rules
3.1. Match Method
1. Match opponents will be openly drawn before the competition.
2. Robot dimensions will be checked with a 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm (L x
W x H) box before entering the arena to ensure compliance. If any robot from a
team does not meet size requirements, adjustments can be made by removing
unnecessary small parts, such as long screws, without altering the overall robot
design. If the issue persists, only one robot from the team will be allowed to
compete.
3. During the match, participants controlling their robots must maintain a
distance from the arena and may not touch it.
4. Each match will last for 3 minutes.

5. The team with the highest score will be declared the winner.
6. A card system will be implemented with two types of cards: red and yellow.
A red card results in disqualification and is issued after receiving 3 yellow
cards. Yellow cards indicate violations during the match.
3.2. Match Violations and Additional Rule
The following is a list of violations and additional regulations:
1. Touching the robot during the match.
2. The defender remains in the penalty area for more than 7 seconds and must
exit completely before re-entering.
3. Both robots from one team crossing the centerline.
4. The ball being held stationary by a robot for 7 seconds.
5. If a robot flips over or gets stuck for more than 5 seconds, it will be
repositioned to its starting point, and the ball will be placed in the center of the
field.
6. Robots crossing the centerline before the match starts.
7. The defender entering and fully covering the goal area; at least 3-4 cm of
space must remain.
Additional Notes:
8. Robots may use any tactics that do not violate rules
9. Violating robots will receive a yellow card. Upon receiving 2 yellow cards,
the robot will be removed from the arena for 1 minute after the 3rd violation.
10. If one robot is removed, leaving a 1 vs. 2 scenario, the single robot team is
free to cross the centerline.
11. If the match ends in a draw, an additional 1-minute overtime will be given
until one team scores.
12. If components from a robot detach during the match, players may request a
30-second pause to reattach them, supervised by referees. This can be done up
to 3 times per match. After repairs, gameplay will resume from the starting
positions. Once the 3 chances are used, no further pauses will be allowed.
3.3. Arena Pertandingan
1. Arena size: 170 cm x 115 cm (L x W)
2. Goal size: 9 cm x 22.5 cm (L x W).
3. Ball diameter: 4 cm.
